Peak season:

Thanks to the excellent weather, the peak season in Sharm is long, running from April to October. Though the hottest summer months of June to August can be unbearable elsewhere in Egypt, the breeze at the coast means that tourism continues throughout this time. The holiday seasons can see hotels booking up quickly, so it is wise to get accommodation in advance.

Shoulder season:

March to May and September to October are good times to visit in a bit more peace. The temperatures are still high, but the beaches will be less crowded. This is also a good time to find discounts on hotel rooms and cheap flights to Sharm el Sheikh.

Off season:

Though it remains warm year-round, there can be rain during the winter months.

The days when Sharm el Sheikh was a quiet fishing village are long gone. The night life in Sharm-el-Sheikh is a growing area. With some of the clubs and bars staying open until dawn. Some are operating from the afternoon attracting the divers from after their day's outings, like the Tavern and Tavern 2. Others are aimed at the night club crowd with dancers and live shows, like Pasha.

Some are open during the day as restaurants and then converting into night clubs around midnight, like the Hard Rock and Little Buddha

If you want to party the night away then Naama Bay is the main area to go. One popular exception is El Fanar, which is at Ras um Sidd. This holds a beach party every Wednesday. Another growing area is Soho Square a the Savoy.
